About Ehlor

I was at a salon for a full hair spa.
Not a quick trim - but something I had actually set aside time for.

The treatment was wonderful. My hair felt soft, nourished - the kind of care you can feel.

And then, at the very end, the stylist reached for a cotton towel.

I noticed it immediately.
That rough, slightly harsh friction on freshly treated hair.

In that moment, it felt wrong.

After all that care, why should the last step undo it?

I stopped her. Said I’d rather air dry. Walked out with damp hair - and a question I couldn’t shake:

Why do we accept this as normal?

That question led me to bamboo.

At first, it sounded promising. Then I started testing it - and quickly realized it wasn’t that simple.

Too thin. Too shiny. Soft at first, but not after a few washes.
I went through multiple iterations, working closely with manufacturers, trying to get it right.

Because I wasn’t looking for “better than cotton.”
I was looking for something that felt genuinely gentle - something I would want to use every single day.

Eventually, it came together.

A towel. A sock.
Products that feel soft, absorb well, and stay that way.

That’s how Ehlor began.

Not as a brand - but as a search for something better.

And if it makes even a small part of your everyday routine feel more considered, then it’s doing exactly what it was meant to.
